Dorper and Dorper/Katahdin-cross hair sheep are the ideal livestock for a working hobby farm. Low maintenance and raised for meat purposes, both breeds require little in the way of regular maintenance other than regular hoof trimmings and the occasional shearing usually in the spring.
Our small flock is a combination of new lambs and adults up to 4 years of age. With plenty of free-range space for eating well into the summer, our pasture raised lamb is top-grade and frequently described as the most tender and flavour-rich meat that our buyers have ever enjoyed.
