Chase joined us in February of 2018 from J. Wiess of Penticton BC–bringing an instant living history of the traditional Border Collie breed to our property.
With origins tracing to Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales, Alberta then British Columbia, we quickly realized the unique genetic potential to continue a line with such unique and original roots.
Chase quickly adapted to our dogs (a lab/hound cross and purebred retriever at the time) and by the end of the year, was introduced to Sasha, then Tessie in 2020–demonstrating strong interest in both. Continuing to be one of the forces that make our property so lively, his energy and natural ability with sheep makes him a very valuable and enjoyable addition to the farm.
Sweet and sensitive yet forceful with getting the job done, Chase is that ideal mix of calm pet and working dog who is happy to just sit with his masters at the end of the day and enjoy a rest.
A copy of Chase’s lineage is available to all purchasers.
